The Relational Skills Intensive equips missionary singles, couples, or teams, with skills to develop healthy, spiritual relationships in the context of ministry.
In the crucible of cross-cultural work, teams are often so focused on the Great Commission task that couples and singles give little attention to each other’s inner world. Such disregard may leave some feeling alone, joyless, depressed – stuck, which can spiral into unhealthy relationships, an ineffective team, and a weakened ministry.
A most significant way to strengthen the relationships closest to you is to nurture intimacy, improve communication, and build trust – side by side, as a family of Jesus. This can be accomplished through the deep work of a Relational Skills Intensive.
COUPLES, keep pouring into your marriage. Invite marriage coaches to lead one or more couples through a 4-day intensive. Restore mutual care, love, and support for each other as you serve the Lord.
SINGLES, invest in staying connected. Invite facilitators to lead a small group of single co-workers through a 4-day intensive. Give space for vulnerable, constructive interaction, as journey-mates in life and work.
LEADERS, cultivate your ministry teams. Invite facilitators to lead your team of couples, singles, or both through a 4-day intensive. Reestablish the necessary spiritual and relational dynamics of doing ministry together.

FOR COUPLES: Sept 9-13
Reset Your Marriage
This Intensive is designed for 2-4 couples. Find your own couples or be placed with others. Together we will strengthen each other’s relationship with your closest neighbor – nurturing intimacy, improving communication, and building trust.
FOR SINGLES: Sept 30 – Oct 4
Reset Your Single Relationships
This Intensive is designed for 2-4 singles. Come with your teammate or roommate or be placed with others. Both men and women are welcome. Together we will strengthen each other’s relationship with your closest friends – nurturing intimacy, improving communication, and building trust.
During the four days, you will recognize and celebrate God’s good deposit in each of you. You’ll find a place to remove aloneness and discover greater intimacy. A place to heal the pain that finds its way into all relationships. And a place to recognize how you can be the best channel of God’s love for each other.
Whether you are married or single, real change, lasting fruit, in our closest relationships demands honesty and hard work. Come to the Intensive with a willingness to dig deep and be vulnerable, to role-play and do some homework. All in the context of worship and opening the Word.
REGISTRATION
Registration is open and ends one month prior to the intensive.
A brief phone interview is necessary before registration.

PRE-INTENSIVE ASSESSMENTS
Assessments will help us prepare to serve you. They must be completed at least two weeks prior to the Intensive. We will send you the assessment links after you register.
ACCOMODATIONS
You are invited to stay at the White House ministry center in central England (see Google Maps). We offer private en suite rooms, access to a small kitchen, and plenty of space to sit in the gardens or stretch your legs on the many trails of the Cannock Chase. Meals are provided and included in the Intensive fee.
INTENSIVE FEE
A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to hold your place. After you register, we will send you a payment link. Beyond your deposit, we gladly accept donations at any point to help us offset some of the expenses of facilitating the Intensive.
