Paraklesis Ministries

For more than 20 years, Paraklesis Ministries has provided personal renewal retreats by coming alongside Christian leaders all over the world to provide relationship, reflection, relaxation, and time for worship. Because we work with mission organizations and Christian workers internationally, we have gained valuable insight into their unique challenges and needs. We recognize the value of encouraging and strengthening international Christian leaders to:

  • Lead with strength, health, and clarity
  • Navigate current challenges
  • Effect positive change from a position of strength.

Paraklesis retreats offer a comfortable, enjoyable, relaxing, safe place to discuss, collaborate, and listen to each other about the topics and trends that most impact crosscultural workers, their ministries, and the cultures where they serve. They are specifically designed to provide a time of encouragement and renewal, a refreshing break, some new tools for life and ministry, and good interaction with others in the field.

The schedule allows time to relax, to learn, to be with other people, to consult with peers,to praise God, and to be alone. Our desire is that this time away from a busy schedule and routine will allow those in ministry to be refreshed – body, soul, and spirit. We pray each participant will return home with renewed dedication and a deeper appreciation for the particular service to which God has called them.

Each member of the retreat staff has training and experience with the stresses of ministry and daily life, and is available to talk with participants throughout the retreat about any special concerns they may have.

We pray God will use these retreats to minister to his servants and shower them with His grace and love.
